NordAn conference 2024 – from harm to zero

NordAN er et nettverk av over 60 ikke-statlige, frivillige organisasjoner i de åtte nordiske og baltiske landene (Danmark, Estland, Finland, Island, Latvia, Litauen, Norge og Sverige), alle aktive innen alkohol og narkotikafeltet. Alle medlemsorganisasjonene arbeider for å redusere forbruket av alkohol og andre rusmidler.

Konferansen foregår på engelsk, og tar for seg den gradvise uthulingen av alkoholkontrollpolitikken, de nye nordiske kostholdsrådene, og effektive tiltak og intervensjoner i narkotikapolitikken.

The NordAN conference i Oslo will focus on the overarching theme «From Harm to Zero?»

The aim is to explore effective strategies and policies to reduce the harm caused by alcohol and drug use in society while addressing the challenges faced by traditional Nordic alcohol policy in the region.

The conference theme, «From Harm to Zero?» underscores the scientific evidence behind the Nordic Nutrition Recommendations and their potential implementation through national low-risk drinking guidelines. These guidelines aim to educate and inform individuals on how to minimize their alcohol-related risks, advocating for informed choices and healthier behaviors.
